Principal Program Manager, Flight Control Systems

Archer is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to lead the Flight Control Systems (FCS) team in developing all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. This role involves overseeing the FCS architecture, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the integration of flight-critical software and hardware components.

Key responsibilities include managing multiple workstreams from concept through production, developing program schedules and budgets, and driving technical decisions related to complex FCS design. The role also involves overseeing supplier relationships and ensuring alignment between program objectives and the company's overall strategy.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, along with over 10 years of program management experience in the aerospace or aviation industry. Experience with flight-critical system development programs, specifically FCS, and knowledge of safety-critical quality standards are essential. Strong proficiency in project management tools and excellent stakeholder management skills are also required.

Archer offers a competitive base salary ranging from $248,000 to $311,000, with actual compensation determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
