Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, and a strong track record in pharmaceutical development, particularly for small molecules. A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience is required, including expertise in chromatographic, spectroscopic, and impurity profiling techniques. Leadership skills, experience with method validation, and working with external partners or CDMOs are essential.
