Principal Software Engineer - Agentic Computational Engineering Platform
Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the development of the Agentic Computational Engineering (ACE) platform. This role involves architecting and building a multi-agent system that enables AI agents to autonomously design complex hardware systems. The successful candidate will join the ACE team, a specialized group within the Advanced Technology Development organization, dedicated to compressing hardware development cycles from years to days through AI-native platforms.
Key responsibilities include owning the technical roadmap for the ACE platform, designing and implementing distributed systems patterns to coordinate AI agents, and building secure execution layers for autonomous code execution. The role also involves developing memory and context systems for agents, optimizing system performance, leading a team of engineers, and collaborating with domain experts to translate workflows into scalable agentic capabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree with 5 years of experience, or a PhD with 3 years of experience, in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field. Required qualifications include over 5 years of experience in building production-grade backend or distributed systems, proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust, and hands-on experience with LLM-based systems and agent orchestration frameworks. Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers in fast-paced environments is also essential.
