Principal Solution Architect – Supply Chain Systems
The Principal Solution Architect – Supply Chain Systems at Archer will lead the end-to-end architecture, roadmap, and solution design for Supply Chain and Logistics functions across the enterprise. This role ensures scalable, integrated, and efficient system landscapes leveraging SAP S/4HANA core capabilities and extending through planning, procurement, logistics, and supplier collaboration platforms. The architect will partner with business and technology leaders to shape the digital supply chain strategy that supports enterprise growth, operational maturity, and innovation.
Key responsibilities include owning the Supply Chain architecture vision and roadmap across Procurement, Planning, Logistics, and Supplier Collaboration. The role involves defining scalable and standardized SAP S/4HANA designs, evaluating and rationalizing existing processes, leading design governance through the Architecture Review Board, and partnering with Enterprise Architecture to connect supply chain roadmaps with Manufacturing, Finance, and Quality domains.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a Master's preferred. Candidates should have over 15 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain process and system transformation, deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA modules, proven experience with Integrated Business Planning or equivalent advanced planning tools, and hands-on experience in greenfield and brownfield SAP implementations. Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics integration, and control frameworks, along with excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills, are essential.
Archer offers a competitive base pay between $190,000 and $245,000 for this position. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
