Principal, Web Platform & Experience Manager
Chime is seeking a Principal, Web Platform & Experience Manager to lead the evolution of This role bridges Marketing, Product, and Engineering to develop a scalable, personalized web ecosystem that enhances user experience and drives growth. As a senior leader, you will influence site architecture, performance infrastructure, and content platforms, directly impacting SEO, experimentation, and brand storytelling.
Key responsibilities include owning the 12–24 month roadmap for the headless CMS and Core Web Vitals improvements, leveraging the Contentful platform to accelerate page velocity and personalization, and setting OKRs for as a growth channel. You will drive discovery for new platform capabilities, oversee site health reporting in partnership with Analytics, and collaborate with SEO and Content Strategy teams to ensure best practices are met. Additionally, you will build a scalable operating model for cross-functional page launches and enable experimentation across the platform to support CRO testing needs.
The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience managing large-scale or headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Storyblok, or Sanity. A strong command of Core Web Vitals, caching strategies, and performance-tuning techniques is essential. Hands-on experience with technical SEO, structured data, and web accessibility standards is required. Proven ability to write PRDs, define acceptance criteria, and drive sprint execution with engineering teams is necessary. Experience making roadmap trade-off decisions under resource constraints with a focus on high-impact work is important. Proficiency in GA4, Looker, and Google Search Console, along with the ability to translate technical complexity for non-technical stakeholders, is also required.
The base salary for this role ranges from $173,000 to $240,000, with full-time employees also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may vary based on location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
