Process Engineer
The Process Engineer at Voyager Technologies, Inc. plays a pivotal role in supporting plant operations, capital projects, and process control improvements within a chemical manufacturing environment. This position is based on-site in Minden, Louisiana, and reports directly to the Senior Technical Project Engineer. Key responsibilities include analyzing process data to identify trends and inefficiencies, supporting troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and learning and implementing process control systems and strategies. The Process Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, manage small to mid-sized capital expenditure projects from planning through execution, coordinate with contractors and vendors for scope development and pricing, and track project progress while providing status updates.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and have 0–7 years of experience in a plant or chemical manufacturing environment. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to learn process control systems. Experience working with contractors or vendors, exposure to capital expenditure projects, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are also required. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with laboratory analytical equipment for chemical analysis and exposure to process control systems such as DCS/PLC.
The position offers a competitive base salary range of $80,000 to $125,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
