Product Designer (UX/UI)
Diligent Corporation is seeking a Product Designer (UX/UI) to join our dynamic product design team in Budapest, Hungary. As part of the broader UX department, the design team undertakes a variety of projects, providing the organization with the flexibility to explore future vision product work and support initiatives that do not align with standard product team roadmaps.
In this role, you will partner with the Product Design Lead and Project Owners to ensure design work aligns with project requirements and meets internal quality standards. You will take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from early concepts to high-fidelity visuals and developer handoff. Collaborating closely with fellow designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will design intuitive, human-centered experiences for data-driven and AI-assisted features. Additionally, you will conduct user research activities as needed and contribute to a culture of ongoing learning and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate possesses a genuine interest in making a difference by designing products that support better decision-making across companies, nonprofits, educational institutions, and communities. A strong passion for user-centered design and empathy for real user needs are essential. You should be comfortable managing multiple design tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. A portfolio showcasing user-centered design work and a thoughtful design process is required. A degree in design, technology, psychology, or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Experience designing SaaS products, ideally in B2B or enterprise contexts, and proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD are also desired.
