This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge electric aircraft that aim to revolutionize urban transportation.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with both internal design teams and external suppliers to provide manufacturing input during the initial design stages. Your responsibilities will include driving Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) assessments, interfacing with the supplier base to oversee tooling design and manufacturing readiness reviews, and supporting supplier process development, which may involve travel to supplier locations. Additionally, you will encourage collaboration among multiple stakeholders, bridging the gap between manufacturing, quality, and design teams.

A bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience, is required. A proven track record in applying Design for Excellence (DFX) principles to complex composite part and assembly development is essential. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly NX, and experience with Fibersim or Composite Workbench are highly desirable. Practical application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and execution of inspection processes are also important qualifications.
