Product Manager - XDR & Observability
Cato Networks is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of the intelligence layer within our Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform. This role focuses on transforming unified network and security telemetry into high-confidence detections, actionable insights, and automated response workflows for Security Operations Center (SOC) and IT teams. The position is based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel.
The Product Manager will define and own the vision and roadmap for Cato's data-driven security and operational intelligence platform. Key responsibilities include delivering meaningful observability and actionability outcomes across security and network products to reduce alert fatigue and accelerate time-to-detection and remediation. The role involves leading the development of AI-driven investigation and automation features that streamline triage, support root-cause analysis, and enable controlled response workflows. Additionally, the Product Manager will drive cross-domain data correlation strategies that unify network, security, endpoint, and application telemetry into clear, actionable insights. Collaboration with Engineering, Data, and Security research teams is essential to bring scalable analytics and intelligent automation to production. Engaging directly with customers and field teams to deeply understand SOC and IT pain points, validate priorities, and ensure measurable customer impact is also a critical aspect of the role.
Candidates should have over four years of B2B product management experience in cybersecurity, SIEM, XDR, observability, or IT operations platforms. Experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams across R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success is required. Hands-on familiarity with SOC workflows, including alert triage, investigation processes, and detection quality tradeoffs (e.g., false positives, precision/recall, Mean Time to Detect/Mean Time to Respond), is essential. Experience building or managing products powered by high-volume event data, analytics pipelines, or real-time telemetry systems is necessary. A background in AI/ML-driven insights, automation frameworks, or workflow automation using AI agents is a strong advantage. Technical fluency in networking and security concepts such as SASE, SD-WAN, and ZTNA is a plus. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can translate complex data systems into clear customer value and operational outcomes.
