Product Security Engineer
Applied Intuition is seeking a Product Security Engineer to integrate security measures throughout the product design and development lifecycle. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the security and integrity of the company's application platform.
The Product Security Engineer will analyze applications and system architectures from inception to release, proactively identifying potential security vulnerabilities and integrating robust security controls. Responsibilities include conducting architecture reviews, threat modeling, regular security assessments, and utilizing AI-assisted testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. The role also involves maturing the company's vulnerability management program, providing guidance on secure coding practices, and collaborating with incident response teams to address security incidents.
Candidates should have over five years of experience as a Security Engineer, Application Security Engineer, or Product Security Engineer in a complex, rapidly scaling software organization. Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python and TypeScript, knowledge of security tools like Burp Suite and OWASP ZAP, and familiarity with modern security protocols and encryption methods are required. Experience with AI for security program scaling, container security (Kubernetes), and securing workloads across major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is also essential.
The position offers a base salary range of $125,000 to $160,000 annually, along with equity options and comprehensive benefits.
