Quality Control Inspector IIII - CMM

The Quality Control Inspector IIII - CMM role is integral to ensuring the precision and reliability of components used in these innovative aircraft. The primary responsibilities include programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using CALYPSO and GearPro software to create measurement routines. The inspector will interpret engineering drawings, translate them into CMM programs and inspection plans, and perform inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with design tolerances and specifications. Additional duties involve performing CMM data validation with hard gauging, recording and maintaining accurate inspection data to support statistical process analysis, and ensuring the calibration and maintenance of CMM machines.
Candidates must have over seven years of experience in metrology with programming skills in CALYPSO or Polyworks, and hands-on experience with CMMs, laser trackers, scanners, or arms. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is essential. Experience in creating and approving first article inspections, identifying inspection errors and initiating corrective actions, and working within a manufacturing environment in aerospace or other highly regulated industries is required. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are also necessary.
Archer offers a competitive compensation package for this position, targeting a base pay range of $28.94 to $39.76 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
