Quality Technician, Chassis/GA (Contract)

As a Quality Technician specializing in Chassis and General Assembly (GA) at Harbinger Motors Inc., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electric vehicle (EV) platforms. Harbinger Motors is an American commercial EV company dedicated to transforming the medium-duty vehicle industry through innovative design and engineering. This contract position is based in Garden Grove, California, and involves working the second shift from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include conducting detailed inspections of automotive components and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications. You will implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the production cycle, actively participate in root cause analysis, and initiate corrective actions to address quality issues. Collaborating closely with production teams, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will communicate quality standards and expectations effectively. Additionally, you will provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, with a college degree or equivalent preferred but not required. A minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or process-focused role is essential. Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and excellent attention to detail are crucial. Effective communication and collaboration skills are necessary, along with a solid understanding of chassis or automotive assembly processes.

This contract position offers an hourly wage ranging from $25 to $32, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
