Real Estate Associate

Nelson Mullins is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Associate to join its Charlotte office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team at an AmLaw100 firm, providing legal services to national financial institutions in one of the nation's major banking centers.

The associate will be responsible for handling real estate acquisitions, development, and finance matters. Key responsibilities include serving as counsel to national financial institutions, managing real estate and construction financing, overseeing commercial lending transactions, and facilitating secondary market transactions. The role also involves working on preferred equity deals and advising on corporate structures related to real estate.

Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of meaningful experience in real estate acquisition, development, and/or finance. Experience in areas such as real estate/construction financing, commercial lending, secondary market transactions, preferred equity, and corporate structures is highly desirable. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills are essential. Admission to and good standing with the North Carolina State Bar is required.
