Regional Director, Public Affairs

The Regional Director of State & Local Public Affairs at CLEAR is responsible for enhancing the company's corporate reputation and brand awareness at the state and local levels. This role involves developing and executing public affairs strategies to effectively communicate CLEAR's mission to elected officials, community partners, local opinion leaders, and members across several states in the Midwest region. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and requires up to 40% travel.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to create public affairs campaigns that advance CLEAR's business objectives, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in government and business, monitoring legislative activities to ensure CLEAR's perspectives are represented, managing public policy challenges, developing strategic community partnerships, representing the company at events and hearings, and overseeing vendors and political consultants in select markets.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in government relations and issue advocacy, strong stakeholder management skills across diverse geographic markets, the ability to develop extensive relationships with leaders in government, civic, non-profit, and business sectors, proficiency in data-driven decision-making, and strong planning and organizational abilities.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $175,000 to $200,000, depending on skills and experience.
