This role involves driving the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, focusing on mid-to-large accounts, and building lasting relationships. Key responsibilities include owning the sales cycle within the assigned region, engaging with key decision-makers such as CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs, and aligning Cato's cybersecurity and SaaS solutions with their business needs. The role also involves positioning these solutions as integral to customers' long-term success, managing sales cycles of varying lengths, leveraging sales intelligence to refine strategies, collaborating with the sales team to share insights, developing relationships with local MSSPs and VARs, and staying informed on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in territory sales within cybersecurity, SaaS, or related industries, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth. A strong understanding of cybersecurity, SaaS, or networking solutions is essential, along with the ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders. Experience working with partners, MSSPs, VARs, and other strategic collaborators to drive sales and expand business opportunities is also required.
