Regulatory Program Manager, Automation & Intelligence
Block is seeking a Regulatory Program Manager to lead the integration of AI and automation within its Settlements and Supervision Operating Model (SSOM). This role is pivotal in enhancing Block's regulatory processes by implementing intelligent tooling to manage complex regulatory commitments effectively. The SSOM team comprises professionals from Compliance, Legal, BizOps, Data Science, and Finance, all dedicated to maintaining rigorous and accountable regulatory engagements.
The Regulatory Program Manager will identify and implement AI-driven solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual efforts, and improve tracking accuracy. Key responsibilities include championing AI adoption through demos and workshops, mapping workflows to pinpoint automation opportunities, and developing a roadmap for AI initiatives. The role also involves optimizing program management tools, translating AI capabilities for regulatory stakeholders, and creating scalable frameworks for governance and remediation processes.
Candidates should have over eight years of experience in program management, regulatory operations, or related fields, with a proven track record in process improvement and technology adoption. A strong enthusiasm for AI and automation is essential, along with experience in change management and stakeholder engagement. Analytical skills, the ability to influence without authority, and experience in regulated industries such as fintech or financial services are highly desirable.
Block offers a competitive salary range based on location, with Zone A positions ranging from $163,600 to $245,400 annually.
