Renewals Manager
The Renewals Manager at Braze plays a pivotal role within the Renewals Team, which is dedicated to managing the company's existing client base by identifying risks and opportunities across accounts. This team employs strategic approaches to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, aiming to secure renewals that align with the objectives of both Braze and its clients.
In this position, the Renewals Manager oversees the entire renewal process for contracts within a designated territory. Key responsibilities include developing account strategies, managing critical timelines, and preparing pricing proposals to facilitate successful contract execution. The role also involves leading the internal quoting and order form processes, ensuring agreements are accurately structured, timely signed, and properly recorded in internal systems. Collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and other internal teams is essential to identify risks and growth opportunities, supporting a seamless renewal process. Additionally, the manager is tasked with building and maintaining reports to track key metrics such as renewal revenue, bookings, retention rates, and overall customer health, leveraging data to inform decision-making.
Candidates for this role should have a background in Sales, Operations, or Customer Success. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong accountability. Analytical skills and commercial awareness are crucial, along with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships and confidently coordinate internal stakeholders. A desire to learn and develop skills focused on the core objectives of the role is important, as is experience working with Salesforce CRM.
