Applied Intuition is seeking multiple Research Scientists to join its Research Group, focusing on advancing physical AI through reinforcement learning and robotics. The team is dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology for applications such as end-to-end autonomous driving and robotic generalists. Comprising experts recognized for their contributions to premier conferences and journals, the group offers a collaborative environment to drive innovation in autonomy and robotics.
In this role, you will conduct research on reinforcement learning topics, including large-scale closed-loop RL and VLA post-training, with a focus on dexterous manipulation. Your work will involve exploring fundamental RL topics with broader applications, collaborating with fellow Research Scientists and interns on publications for top-tier conferences, and working alongside Research Engineers and engineering teams to test and deploy algorithms into autonomy and robotics products.
Candidates should possess a strong research record in reinforcement learning and VLA post-training for robotics and autonomous systems, evidenced by publications in top-tier conferences or journals in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics. A Master's or PhD in machine learning, computer vision, or related fields with applications in autonomy and robotics is required. The role demands strong research skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and technical experience in Python, PyTorch, computer vision, robotics systems, and distributed machine learning model training.
Applied Intuition offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $126,000 to $423,000 annually, equity options, and benefits such as health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage.
