Sales Development Representative - Southeast Asia
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Remote focuses on engaging prospective customers and active clients to fully experience the company's Global HR Platform. As part of the Sales team, the SDR responds to incoming queries and assists customers in understanding how to maximize Remote’s suite of products to meet their employment needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the global employment space by joining a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
Key responsibilities include responding to, engaging with, and qualifying outbound leads and inquiries. The SDR will source new sales prospects, reach out to them to schedule appointments for Account Executives, and clearly communicate Remote's value propositions. Additionally, the role involves educating and developing prospects, creating target prospect lists, penetrating key accounts, and conducting research to identify key players and business requirements.
Candidates should have proven success in business development through effective use of core sales tools such as Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Chorus. Experience as an SDR in a B2B SaaS tech company is essential. Strong negotiation skills, exceptional oral and written communication abilities, and a positive, energetic phone presence are required. The ability to think strategically and tactically, maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges, and a self-motivated, proactive work ethic are also important. Fluency in English is necessary, and proficiency in Korean, Japanese, or Bahasa is a plus but not mandatory.
The On-Target Earnings for this position range between $90,900 SGD and $102,250 SGD, with the base salary comprising 70% of the total compensation.
