Sales Enablement lead, APJ
The Sales Enablement Lead, APJ at Cato Networks will serve as a strategic partner, trainer, and coach for the field sales force in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region. This role involves leading new Sales Directors and Channel Account Managers through comprehensive company, solution, and sales enablement training. Beyond initial onboarding, the Lead will act as a proactive consultant to the sales organization, utilizing data and field insights to identify areas where additional coaching can enhance the team's ability to effectively position Cato's solutions.
Key responsibilities include developing trusted partnerships with APJ regional sales leadership to ensure alignment of enablement initiatives with their priorities and go-to-market strategies. The Lead will design, develop, and maintain sales and product training tailored for the APJ sales team. Proactively identifying skill and knowledge gaps within the sales team is essential, providing sales leadership with actionable insights and data-driven recommendations for coaching and training to improve team performance. Additionally, the role involves building strong, supportive relationships with Sales Directors and Channel Account Managers, serving as their primary resource for day-to-day coaching and support.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience designing and delivering sales enablement programs, preferably within the security or networking sectors. Strong experience in selling or enabling technical products is crucial, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes. Experience in using performance data to identify gaps and measure training efficacy is required. A solid understanding of both direct and channel-involved sales cycles is necessary. The candidate should be adept at taking strategic direction and translating it into actionable plans, managing workflows while adhering to deadlines. Excellent presentation skills and comfort in engaging with senior sellers are also important.
