Sales Enablement lead, APJ
The Sales Enablement Lead, APJ at Cato Networks is a strategic partner, trainer, and coach for the field sales force in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region. This role involves leading new Sales Directors and Channel Account Managers through comprehensive company, solution, and sales enablement training. Beyond initial onboarding, the Sales Enablement Lead acts as a proactive consultant to the sales organization, utilizing data and field insights to identify areas where additional coaching can enhance the team's ability to effectively position Cato's solutions.
Key responsibilities include developing trusted partnerships with APJ regional sales leadership to ensure alignment of enablement initiatives with their priorities and go-to-market strategies. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining sales and product training tailored for the APJ sales team. Additionally, the Sales Enablement Lead proactively identifies skill and knowledge gaps within the sales team, providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations for coaching and training to improve team performance. Building strong, supportive relationships with Sales Directors and Channel Account Managers is essential, serving as their primary resource for day-to-day coaching and support.
The ideal candidate possesses over five years of experience in designing and delivering sales enablement programs, preferably within the security or networking sector. They should have strong experience in selling or enabling technical products, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes. Experience in using performance data to identify gaps and measure training efficacy is crucial. A strong understanding of both direct and channel-involved sales cycles is necessary, along with the ability to take strategic direction and translate it into actionable plans. Excellent presentation skills and comfort in engaging with senior sellers are also required.
