Sales Engineer, Bogota
Cato Networks is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. The Sales Engineer will serve as a key technical resource for our field sales force, actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Responsibilities include providing technical validation of Cato Networks solutions to prospects, developing and delivering product demonstrations, presenting products at customer meetings and field events, responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs, conveying customer requirements to Product Management teams, and traveling throughout the sales territory as needed.
The ideal candidate will have over four years of pre-sales or consulting experience working with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role. A proven track record in software sales is essential. Comprehensive understanding of networking technologies, including LAN and WAN technologies, switching and routing, security (firewalls and filtering technologies), and cloud, is required. Strong presentation skills and written communication abilities are also necessary. The candidate should be organized, analytical, creative, and adaptable in their approach to finding solutions.
