Cato Networks is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Mid-Atlantic region, encompassing Baltimore, Maryland; Richmond, Virginia; and Washington, D.C. In this position, you will serve as the primary technical resource for our field sales force, actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Your responsibilities will include providing technical validation of Cato Networks' solutions to prospective clients, developing and delivering product demonstrations, and presenting our offerings at customer meetings and industry events. Additionally, you will respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs and convey customer requirements to our Product Management teams. Travel throughout the sales territory will be required to effectively support our clients and sales initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess over four years of pre-sales or consulting experience with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role. A proven track record in software sales is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of networking technologies, including LAN and WAN technologies, switching and routing, security (firewalls and filtering technologies), and cloud services. Strong presentation skills and excellent written communication abilities are crucial, as is an organized, analytical, creative, and adaptive approach to problem-solving.

Cato Networks offers a competitive compensation package, with a reasonable estimate of the on-target earnings for this role ranging from $230,000 to $250,000 annually.
