Salesforce Software Engineer
Celonis is seeking a Salesforce Software Engineer to join the Sailfin Accounts Receivable (AR) Team, a product engineering group within the Finance and Accounting domain. This team is responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining an enterprise AR product utilized by global customers. The role is based in Bangalore, India, and involves working with modern engineering standards, automation, and AI/ML-enabled components to develop high-quality financial solutions.
In this position, the engineer will design, develop, and optimize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and the Lightning Framework. Key responsibilities include translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, managing the full development lifecycle from design to support, implementing best practices in Salesforce configuration and performance tuning, and building integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and external services. The role also involves collaborating with the AI team to integrate Python-based services and LLM workflows into the AR product.
The ideal candidate should have over six years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with strong proficiency in LWC, Apex, SOQL, and the Lightning Framework. A deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, security models, and best practices is essential. Experience with Salesforce integrations, web fundamentals, and basic knowledge of Python for automation or service integration is required. Familiarity with AI/LLMs and experience using AI-assisted coding tools are advantageous. Salesforce certifications such as PD1 or App Builder are preferred.
