Archer is seeking a SAP Security & Platform Systems Engineer to oversee the secure architecture and technical integration of our SAP S/4HANA RISE environment. This role is pivotal in bridging traditional SAP security with modern cloud platform administration, ensuring robust and compliant SAP systems. Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California, dedicated to advancing sustainable air mobility through the development of all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.

The engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining S/4HANA business roles, Fiori catalogs, and authorization groups. Key duties include configuring and troubleshooting user provisioning and authentication workflows, participating in SOX and ITGC audits, managing GRC/IAG systems, and securing Fiori applications and web services. Additionally, the role involves designing and managing technical trust configurations across S/4HANA, BTP, and SAP Analytics Cloud, administering BTP subaccounts, and ensuring secure data transfer between the RISE private cloud and external services.

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in SAP technical roles, with at least 3 years focused on S/4HANA and the Business Technology Platform. Expertise in PFCG, SU24 optimization, and Fiori security architecture is essential. Practical experience with the SAP BTP Cockpit and SAP Cloud Connector, as well as proficiency in managing identity protocols like SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect, is required. Experience in managing SOX/ITGC compliance in regulated environments and the ability to perform comprehensive end-to-end traces to diagnose connectivity and authorization issues are also necessary.

Archer offers a competitive base salary ranging from $152,100 to $190,100, determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
