SEC Reporting Supervisor
The SEC Reporting Supervisor at Lucid Motors plays a pivotal role in overseeing the company's compliance with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting requirements. This position is integral to the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely filings that reflect Lucid's financial health and operations. Lucid Motors is a leader in luxury electric vehicles, committed to innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry.
Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing SEC filings such as Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K using Workiva, and assisting with the XBRL review process. The role involves leading the completion of quarterly and annual GAAP disclosure checklists, monitoring and researching new accounting standards and SEC disclosure requirements, and coordinating external audits and quarterly reviews. Additionally, the supervisor will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting Operations, Treasury, FP&A, Investor Relations, and Legal to ensure compliance and streamline processes.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, along with over five years of accounting experience, including at least three years in a Big Four public accounting firm. A CPA license or progression toward obtaining one is required. Preferred qualifications include experience with Workiva, understanding of XBRL/EDGAR filing requirements, proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and familiarity with SAP. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment are essential.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $113,900 to $156,640 annually, with additional benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, vacation, and a 401(k) plan. Eligible candidates may also participate in Lucid's equity program and discretionary annual incentive program, subject to company performance.
