Security Analyst
As a Security Analyst at Zip Co Limited, you will be an integral part of our Cyber Security team, focusing on safeguarding our platforms, systems, and customers from cyber threats. This role is situated within our Security Operations capability, where you'll collaborate closely with Engineering, Platform, and IT teams to detect and respond to security incidents promptly, thereby enhancing our overall security posture.
Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and triaging security alerts across various platforms, investigating suspicious activities, and validating potential incidents. You will coordinate incident response efforts with cross-functional teams to minimize impact and reduce dwell time. Additionally, you'll work on improving detection capabilities through the tuning and optimization of alerts and produce clear incident reports and metrics to strengthen operational visibility.
The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in cyber security, SOC operations, IT operations, or related technical roles. Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools such as CrowdStrike or other EDR/XDR platforms is essential. Familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage workflows, and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK is highly desirable. Strong analytical and investigative skills, clear communication abilities, and a proactive mindset are crucial for success in this role.
