Security Engineering Manager, Enterprise Security
CoreWeave is seeking a Security Engineering Manager to lead and scale its Enterprise Security engineering function. This role involves securing identities, endpoints, enterprise services, and the extended workforce across a global organization. As a hands-on engineering leader, you will define and execute strategies for identity security, zero trust access, SaaS and third-party security, and endpoint hardening. You will also lead and grow a team of enterprise security engineers, collaborating closely with IT, Security Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Engineering to ensure the maturity of enterprise security capabilities alongside the platform.
Key responsibilities include owning the strategy, roadmap, and execution of CoreWeave’s Enterprise Security engineering program. You will design, build, and operate identity and access security systems, including IAM, SSO, authentication, and access lifecycle management. Implementing zero trust access models through technical controls, building and operating security controls for third-party SaaS applications, and partnering with IT to harden endpoints and manage device security are also essential duties. Additionally, you will collaborate with Security Operations on incident response and partner with Compliance, Legal, and Privacy teams to translate requirements into automated technical controls.
The ideal candidate has 7 to 12 years of experience in enterprise security or related fields, with 3 to 5 years in a leadership or management role. Strong hands-on expertise in identity and access management, including SSO, authentication protocols, and access lifecycle management, is required. Experience in designing and operating zero trust security architectures, understanding security risks associated with SaaS platforms and third-party integrations, and a preference for building and operating systems over writing policy documents are also important. Clear communication skills and effective partnership across IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering are essential.
The base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $242,000, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to base salary, the total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance fully paid by CoreWeave, company-paid life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, flexible spending and health savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), mental wellness benefits, family-forming support, paid parental leave, flexible childcare support, 401(k) with a generous employer match, flexible PTO, catered lunches, and a casual work environment.
