Square is seeking a seasoned Senior Account Executive to join our Outbound Sales Team, focusing on restaurant owners within the small to mid-sized business sector. This role involves developing and executing outbound sales strategies to introduce Square's comprehensive ecosystem to prospective merchants. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in new logo sales and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Key responsibilities include understanding the unique business and technological needs of restaurant merchants and employing a consultative sales approach to address these requirements. The Senior Account Executive will conduct prospecting activities such as cold calling, emailing, and social selling to generate leads, perform discovery calls and product demonstrations, and develop tailored solutions using Square's offerings. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the Business Development Team to convert outbound leads, managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and ensuring successful onboarding in partnership with other teams.

The position requires a minimum of three years of experience in a full-cycle closing sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals. Candidates should possess a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, demonstrate the ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced environment, and have experience in business development, particularly in sourcing and acquiring new clients. Strong collaboration skills and prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools are also essential.

Compensation for this role varies based on geographic location, with annual salary ranges as follows:

- Zone A: $156,200 - $234,200

- Zone B: $145,200 - $217,800

- Zone C: $137,400 - $206,200

- Zone D: $129,600 - $194,400

These amounts include target variable compensation.
