Duolingo is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join its direct advertising business, Duolingo Ads. This role involves collaborating with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth by engaging premium advertisers. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape the trajectory of ads on Duolingo for hundreds of millions of learners.

Key responsibilities include owning and growing a portfolio of advertisers through prospecting, pitching, closing, and renewal. The role also involves generating demand within key verticals by building a robust new business pipeline, working effectively with key members of the ads team across business, product, design, and engineering to advance deals, and sharing actionable marketplace feedback to inform ad leaders and shape products.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in direct ad sales, with success selling video and native/custom ad formats in premium, digital environments. They should possess the ability to engage senior decision-makers at clients and agencies, a strong understanding of ad tech and mobile app ecosystems, and expertise in using data to derive insights and assess the performance of ad campaigns. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are also required.
