The Senior Accountant, Supply Chain Finance at Mammoth Brands will play a pivotal role in managing daily accounting tasks related to the supply chain. This position involves close collaboration with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and to analyze variances against forecasted figures. Key responsibilities for this role include reviewing and approving inventory, freight, and duty bills, monitoring the three-way matching of purchase orders, bills, and inventory receipts, and conducting monthly inventory reconciliations across platforms like Amazon and third-party logistics providers. The Senior Accountant will also perform monthly landed cost analyses to ensure accurate duty rates and freight allocations, prepare necessary adjusting journal entries, and collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to provide model inputs. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the preparation of schedules for external audits and supporting various ad hoc projects as needed.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA certification or candidacy preferred. A minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience is required, with public accounting experience considered a plus. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting operations is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Workspace. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Experience in a fast-growing startup environment and familiarity with NetSuite and are advantageous.
