Frontera is seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and revenue execution within our rapidly growing healthcare and technology organization. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role will serve as the operational backbone of the finance function, ensuring accurate financial records, clear revenue reporting, and scalable systems that align with our business growth.

Key responsibilities include managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, maintaining accurate general ledger activity, and overseeing accruals, prepaids, deferred revenue, and revenue recognition. The role also involves handling billing and collections across multiple revenue models—such as B2B SaaS contracts, direct-to-consumer subscriptions, and clinical services revenue—and ensuring consistent revenue reporting by product, payer, and business segment. Additionally, the Senior Accounting Manager will own the accounting system (QuickBooks), improve billing workflows and internal controls, and support automation initiatives where beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years of accounting experience, particularly in high-growth startups or fast-paced companies. Essential skills include deep expertise in month-end close processes, revenue recognition, and billing and accounts receivable management. A strong operator mindset is crucial, with a preference for candidates comfortable executing tasks directly rather than solely reviewing. Experience in healthcare services (such as ABA, behavioral health, or Medicaid billing), SaaS and subscription revenue, and prior startup finance infrastructure development are strong pluses. While a CPA certification is advantageous, it is not required.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $190,000 USD, depending on qualifications and experience. Full-time employee benefits include stock options, health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and four weeks of paid time off per year.

At Frontera, you'll have the opportunity to build foundational finance operations at the intersection of healthcare delivery and cutting-edge AI technology. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll own meaningful systems early and help ensure a strong financial backbone as we scale access to care nationwide.
