Software Engineer - B2B Platform
Frontera is seeking a Software Engineer to join our provider-focused team, dedicated to building and scaling the systems that power clinician workflows, reporting, and decision-making. This role involves working across both backend and frontend systems to develop core experiences that clinicians rely on daily, contributing to our mission of enhancing care for children with autism and other behavioral health needs.
Key responsibilities include developing and enhancing frontend applications that support complex clinician workflows, such as assessments, session interactions, and report creation. The role also involves building, maintaining, and improving backend services, APIs, and data models that power these workflows and reporting. Additionally, the engineer will develop systems for data ingestion, processing, and report generation across structured and unstructured data, and contribute to AI-assisted and data-driven features that support clinical insights, automation, and decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend development skills in building data-driven systems using Python, Node.js, or similar technologies. Experience in building modern frontend applications with React or similar frameworks is also required. The candidate should have experience designing and building APIs, working with relational or NoSQL databases, and processing structured and unstructured data. A strong attention to code quality, maintainability, and documentation is essential, along with the ability to thrive in fast-moving, early-stage environments with greenfield projects.
Frontera offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health benefits, stock options, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off.
