Doctolib is seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer to join its AI team in Paris, France. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing data infrastructures that support AI-driven healthcare solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and scalability of AI models, enhancing healthcare delivery for professionals and patients alike.

As a Senior AI Data Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tailored for AI and machine learning applications. You will implement data ingestion and transformation frameworks to support retrieval systems and training datasets for large language models (LLMs) and multimodal models. Additionally, you will manage NoSQL and vector databases to efficiently store and retrieve embeddings, documents, and model inputs. Collaboration with machine learning and platform teams will be essential to define data schemas, partitioning strategies, and governance rules that ensure privacy, scalability, and reliability.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, along with over five years of experience in data engineering, particularly supporting AI or machine learning workloads. Proficiency in Python and SQL is required, as well as experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Cloud Composer. A strong understanding of NoSQL systems like MongoDB and vector databases such as FAISS or Vector Search is essential. Experience in designing data architectures for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, or model training pipelines is highly desirable. Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance, especially concerning sensitive or regulated data, is also important.
