Senior AI/ML Engineer

Nansen is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our team, focusing on developing the intelligence layer that powers our mission to surface onchain signals and create winners. This role involves working with over 500 million labeled blockchain addresses, training models on unique datasets, and deploying AI/ML systems that assist investors in making informed decisions and growing their portfolios.

Key responsibilities include designing and building AI/ML models on top of the world's richest onchain dataset, ensuring they are fast, scalable, and production-ready. The engineer will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ship models that reach users effectively. Staying ahead in both AI/ML and blockchain domains is essential, as is mentoring junior engineers and owning work end-to-end, from data pipeline to deployed feature.

The ideal candidate has experience shipping AI/ML at production scale, with deep fluency in Python frameworks, Generative AI, and agent architectures. Expertise in LLMs, prompt engineering, and context engineering across platforms like OpenAI and Anthropic is required. Proficiency in the full data stack, including feature engineering, pipelines, and model serving, is expected. A genuine interest in onchain technologies and the crypto space is a plus.
