Senior Analytics Engineer (Data Modeling & BI)
Fever, a leading tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their team in Madrid. This role is integral to Fever's mission of democratizing access to culture and entertainment by leveraging data-driven approaches to enhance user experiences and support event creators. The Senior Analytics Engineer will bridge the gap between data engineering and business analytics, ensuring stakeholders have access to reliable and well-modeled datasets for informed decision-making.
In this position, the engineer will design, build, and maintain data models using DBT and SQL to transform raw data into clean, trusted datasets suitable for self-service and reporting. Collaboration with data engineering teams is essential to define and certify critical business metrics such as revenue, engagement, and marketing performance. The role also involves working closely with business squads—including B2B, Marketing, CRM, and Product—to understand their data needs and develop reusable data assets. Ensuring data quality and consistency through testing frameworks, observability, and governance is a key responsibility. Additionally, the engineer will support self-service analytics by enabling stakeholders to confidently explore data using existing visualization and BI tools or by developing custom solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required to effectively communicate with local and global teams. A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills are essential for working in Fever's multidisciplinary and fast-paced environment. Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques, hands-on experience with DBT or similar transformation frameworks, and familiarity with Python and orchestration frameworks like Airflow are necessary. Experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, as well as BI tools like Metabase, Superset, or Tableau, is also expected. An understanding of data quality, governance, and observability practices will be beneficial.
Fever offers an attractive compensation package that includes a base salary with the potential for significant performance-based bonuses and stock options. Employees enjoy a 40% discount on all Fever events and experiences, health insurance, and flexible remuneration with tax exemptions through Cobee. The company supports professional and personal growth, providing English lessons and Gympass memberships. The work environment is home office friendly, promoting a balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being.
Joining Fever means becoming part of a dynamic, international team dedicated to revolutionizing the live entertainment industry. The company values innovation, collaboration, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Employees have the opportunity to make a real impact in a high-growth global category leader, contributing to Fever's mission of making culture and entertainment more accessible to people worldwide.
