Senior Android Developer for Sport Team
As a Senior Android Developer at GR8 Tech, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling high-quality Android experiences for our core products. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering fast, stable, and secure mobile solutions, contributing to the company's mission of providing innovative, scalable platforms and business solutions for the iGaming industry.
Your primary responsibilities will include owning Android architecture decisions and setting long-term technical direction. You will work to improve app performance, stability, and scalability, drive the adoption of modern Android practices such as Jetpack Compose and Coroutines, and identify and reduce technical debt in critical areas. Additionally, you will define and track key engineering quality metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong experience with Android development using Kotlin, a deep understanding of the Android SDK, app lifecycle, and system behavior, and hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose. Proficiency with modern Android stack components like Coroutines and Flow, solid understanding of architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture, and experience with networking tools like Retrofit and OkHttp are also essential. Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization is required.
