Senior Associate, Central Finance & Strategy

Wolt is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Central Finance & Strategy team, which plays a pivotal role in providing timely and accurate management reporting across the organization. This team collaborates closely with various departments, including Accounting, Analytics, Product, and local market teams, to ensure comprehensive business analysis and reporting. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of best-in-class reports and participate in long-term projects, such as data integration with DoorDash.

The Senior Associate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports and forecasts. Key duties include identifying and analyzing trends, variances, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights to management. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data flows and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and policies. Additionally, the Senior Associate will support ad-hoc data and reporting requests as needed.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, along with over five years of experience in a highly analytical role such as financial planning and analysis. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Looker, are essential. A solid understanding of data flows, structures, and databases is required, with knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, or Python considered advantageous. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is also important.
