Senior Associate, Recruiter – Construction
Hut 8 is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate, Recruiter to join our People team, focusing on supporting our rapidly growing Construction division. Reporting to the Director of Recruiting, this role involves managing the full-cycle recruitment process for construction and infrastructure positions, from identifying skilled tradespeople and project professionals to facilitating successful hires. This position is based onsite at our corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida.
Key responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various roles within the company. The recruiter will create and post job descriptions on multiple platforms, utilize diverse sourcing methods to attract passive candidates, and conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit. Additionally, the role involves scheduling and coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive candidate experience, promoting the company's employer brand, and maintaining the applicant tracking system with up-to-date information.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in recruiting within the construction sector, excelling in various sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job board management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels. The candidate should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities, a track record of managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously, and proficiency with applicant tracking systems and other HR software. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and work five days a week onsite in our Miami office is required.
