May Mobility is seeking a Senior Autonomy Engineer to join our Mapping & Localization team. This role involves leading the design and implementation of advanced localization software and systems, ensuring high-confidence state estimation and spatial awareness across diverse operational domains. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our mission of transforming urban mobility through autonomous technology.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing state-of-the-art localization solutions capable of operating effectively in challenging environments, including GPS-denied urban areas and regions with high densities of moving agents. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting comprehensive design and code reviews, troubleshooting complex system-level issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and robustness.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in autonomous robotics engineering, with a strong focus on state estimation, localization, or SLAM. Proficiency in C/C++ programming is essential, along with a solid background in probabilistic robotics, multi-modal sensor fusion, and sensor calibration. A bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.

May Mobility offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 to $200,000 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.
