Senior Autonomy Support Engineer
May Mobility is seeking a Senior Autonomy Support Engineer to join our Support Engineering Team, which ensures the safe and autonomous operation of our vehicle fleet. This role involves remote debugging, problem investigation, and issue tracking within the fleet, contributing to the advancement of our autonomous vehicle systems.
Key responsibilities include investigating reported fleet issues to determine root causes, categorizing common problems, and escalating them to the Autonomy Software Engineering teams as necessary. The role also involves curating and managing datasets for software development, analyzing testing data, and developing simulation scenarios to evaluate system functionality.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a strong analytical and technical skill set. Proficiency in Python coding, Bash scripting, and Linux terminal usage is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a proven ability in troubleshooting and attention to detail, are essential.
