Senior Business Analyst, Operations Analytics (Health Plan Operations)
The Senior Business Analyst, Operations Analytics at Spring Health will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within the Health Plan Operations (HOPs) department. This position involves owning strategic analytics, forecasting, and performance measurement to inform both strategic decisions and day-to-day revenue cycle management operations. The role reports to the Director of Operations Analytics & Workforce Optimization and is fully remote, with a preference for candidates able to be onsite in the NYC office once a week.
Key responsibilities include translating complex analytics into actionable insights to improve workflows, service delivery, and operational efficiency, leveraging AI functionality to reduce time-to-insight and increase actionability. The analyst will serve as a strategic partner to HOPs leadership, providing analytical guidance on critical business priorities such as reducing bad debt, improving clean collections rates, reducing aged Accounts Receivable, and enhancing team efficiency. Additionally, the role involves partnering with business intelligence and HOPs teams to build and maintain automated dashboards, KPI definitions, metric trees, and recurring performance packages.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a similar analytical field, with a master's degree preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations strategy, analytics, revenue cycle management, or related roles is required. Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly mental healthcare, is a plus. Proficiency in developing and managing analytical models, with strong command of data and visualization tools such as Looker, SQL, and Hex, is essential. The role also demands excellent communication and storytelling skills, along with a builder’s mindset comfortable with establishing frameworks, processes, and standards in a scaling environment.
The target base salary range for this position is $97,000 to $113,500, forming part of a competitive total rewards package that includes benefits. Individual pay may vary based on factors such as experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
