Senior C++ Database Engine Developer

MariaDB is seeking a Senior C++ Database Engine Developer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality software solutions, ensuring performance and reliability. Collaborating with a global team, you will address complex technical challenges in database engine development.

Key responsibilities include developing software solutions based on technical requirements, investigating and resolving critical bugs promptly, participating in code reviews to maintain code quality, supporting continuous development processes, and staying updated on programming languages and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate has experience in database engine development, proficiency in C++ (including C++20 and C++17 standards), and a strong understanding of multi-threaded parallel processing across multiple remote nodes. Additional qualifications include experience with CMake for multitarget builds, Bash scripting, Python project library management, and software development within a Linux environment. Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team are essential.
