Senior Client Intake Specialist (Immigration and Criminal Defense)

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is seeking an experienced Senior Client Intake Specialist to join our Austin, TX office. This role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective clients in immigration and criminal defense cases, playing a crucial role in our client acquisition process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and a desire to grow within the legal industry.

Key responsibilities include screening telephone calls before scheduling attorney-client consultations, persistently monitoring all potential new client inquiries through various channels, and immediately contacting every potential client to establish a relationship. The specialist will also update logs and reporting systems to reflect the status of all potential new clients, conduct interviews with genuine empathy and compassion, schedule appointments, take accurate notes during consultations, and assist attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening new cases and maintaining databases.

Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish with full proficiency, have a minimum of three years of sales experience (customer service experience is a major plus), and possess a strong background with performance-based metrics. Experience with case management software is advantageous. The role requires resourcefulness, motivation to solve issues as they arise, a proven track record of meeting goals and deadlines, and the ability to work weekends. Experience in immigration and criminal defense is strongly preferred.
