Braze is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join its Security Engineering team. This role involves collaborating with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Product Engineering teams to enhance the company's cloud security posture. Braze operates on cloud-native infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and self-managed Kubernetes environments, providing a dynamic setting for security professionals.

The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will design secure cloud architectures and develop scalable security controls for new and existing services. Responsibilities include implementing end-to-end cloud security measures across various platforms, leading vulnerability management workflows, managing security tools, performing threat modeling, contributing to incident response, securing Infrastructure-as-Code deployments, developing automation for detection and response, and enhancing cloud monitoring and operational visibility.

Candidates should have over five years of experience in Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, or DevSecOps within a product-focused company. Essential qualifications include expert-level knowledge of AWS security, strong understanding of GCP security, significant experience with self-managed Kubernetes, hands-on experience with security tools like CrowdStrike and Tenable, proven incident response capabilities in cloud environments, and proficiency in Python for automation. Familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST is also required.
