Huntress is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel to join our remote-first team, reporting to the Director of Legal. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. As a key legal partner, you will collaborate across various departments to facilitate business growth while managing legal risks effectively.

In this position, you will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including SaaS subscription contracts, order forms, data processing agreements, security terms, non-disclosure agreements, and reseller/channel terms. Additionally, you will support vendor contracting across multiple areas such as technology, professional services, security, marketing, and procurement. A significant aspect of your role involves partnering closely with the Sales team to accelerate deal cycles while safeguarding Huntress against potential risks.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years of legal experience, with several years spent in-house at a fast-growing SaaS, technology, or cybersecurity company. You should possess deep expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial SaaS agreements and related technology contracts. A clear understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue, sales cycles, and customer contracting expectations is essential. Experience with AI tools to enhance legal operations and the ability to work independently within a global team are also important.

Huntress offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $185,000 to $200,000, along with bonuses and equity.
