Staff Product Manager, SIEM
As a Staff Product Manager at Huntress, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and expansion of our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) product, launched in October 2024. This position offers the opportunity to shape a SIEM solution tailored specifically for small to midsize businesses (SMBs), focusing on delivering relevant data, reducing noise, and ensuring ease of use without the need for dedicated full-time management. You will collaborate closely with company founders, product leaders, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to develop a cost-effective and efficient SIEM that addresses the unique challenges faced by SMBs.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting the SIEM product vision and strategy, analyzing market trends, and performing competitor analysis to inform the product roadmap. Your day-to-day activities will include working with designers, engineers, and architects to create detailed business requirements, epics, and user stories that shape product specifications and architecture. Additionally, you will prioritize features based on their alignment with the broader product strategy and unmet market needs, participate in all phases of product development from discovery to launch, and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive and execute product launches.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in product management, with prior responsibility for SIEM products. Demonstrated success in driving long-term vision and strategy that resulted in outperformance is essential. Experience leading product innovation, feature ideation, delivery, and launch, as well as working in an agile development environment using agile development tools, is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to create epics and stories for engineering that align with intended outcomes. Experience with products delivered from AWS or other cloud environments and building products for the SMB market is a significant benefit.
