The Senior Compensation Analyst at Milbank LLP is responsible for implementing and auditing the firm's compensation structures to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and compliant with regulations. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing compensation data, and developing salary structures and policies. The position reports to the Director of Benefits & Compensation and plays a crucial role in translating compensation strategies into actionable results.

Key responsibilities include performing annual compensation activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local pay laws, administering annual compensation programs, and conducting compensation analyses. The analyst will lead benchmarking studies, maintain compensation databases, and conduct pay equity analyses. Additionally, the role involves developing and enhancing compensation plans, serving as the lead for new rewards programs and initiatives, and collaborating with HR to evaluate business services roles and manage compensation data in Workday.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Workday are essential. The role requires an initiative-taker with good judgment, strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders. A high level of discretion and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are also important.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $140,000, representing the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base compensation range. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate's relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees, and location, as well as the needs of the firm.
