Senior Concept Designer
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Concept Designer to join their Design Team, collaborating directly with the Maneuver Dominance division. This role focuses on developing aerial robotic systems that operate in large, coordinated teams alongside ground maneuver forces. The Design Team is responsible for the company's brand identity, visual communication, concept art, and industrial design, aiming to connect the mission, people, and products to elevate the Anduril brand.
The Senior Concept Designer will lead mission development work within the Maneuver Dominance division, creating visual narratives and product renderings with photorealistic textures and lighting. Responsibilities include developing 2D/3D mission diagrams and advancing visualization techniques and styles within the Design Team. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, marketing, and business development teams to effectively illustrate missions and complex narratives.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a concept artist, 3D generalist, or equivalent in the entertainment or game industry. A strong portfolio demonstrating ideation, modeling techniques, 2D/3D visualization, and vehicle and aircraft design is essential. Deep understanding of dimensionality, composition, scale, and form, along with proficiency in industry-standard software such as Photoshop, Blender, Maya, 3DS, Modo, Z-brush, and Keyshot, is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally are also necessary.
The position offers a salary range of $129,000 to $171,000 USD, with actual compensation varying based on factors such as experience and skills.
