Duolingo is seeking a Senior Content Producer to lead audio operations within our Music course, collaborating with Game Designers and Product Managers to curate engaging music lesson experiences. This role involves managing Sound Designers and overseeing the tuning of game difficulty to enhance learner engagement.

Key responsibilities include embedding within the music course team to work closely with Product Managers, Sound Designers, and Product Designers. The Senior Content Producer will own and maintain rights and clearances for music and audio assets in partnership with the Business Development and Legal teams, including usage terms, licenses, and renewals. Additionally, the role involves establishing project requirements through briefs and project plans, driving day-to-day production by managing teams and vendors, leading kick-offs, running weekly syncs, tracking timelines and budgets, compiling feedback, and communicating status updates to stakeholders. The position also focuses on removing roadblocks, creating efficiencies by implementing scalable and repeatable processes, improving team collaboration and communication, and partnering with Product and Design to integrate audio into features and learning moments.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of hands-on audio production experience across voice-over, music, or sound design for consumer apps, games, or brand content, including vendor and talent management. A proven track record of operating independently in a fast-paced environment is essential, along with a meticulous sense of organization and a passion for operational excellence. Strong collaboration and communication skills with creative, product, legal, and external partners are required, as well as effective communication skills. Working knowledge of music licensing, rights management, and clearance workflows in partnership with Legal is necessary. The ability to work from or relocate to London, UK, is also required.

Exceptional candidates will have experience producing audio for mobile learning, games, or interactive products, partnering directly with product and design teams. A network of global audio partners and experience scaling multi-market deliveries and localization are advantageous. Depth in music supervision or note-tracking and beat-mapping workflows, practical experience negotiating licenses, comfort establishing sonic brand guidelines and QA checklists to ensure consistency across channels, and experience measuring creative impact and turning wins into templates and best practices are also desirable.
